PDF or Word for your resume: which should you send?
Follow the instructions in the job posting. If there are none, a PDF keeps your layout the same on every device.

When a PDF is better
When you want the page to look the same for everyone, and when you are emailing the file. A PDF made from your word processor also keeps your text selectable.
When Word is better
When the posting asks for it, or when a recruiter says they need to edit the file. Many application systems accept both, but the posting is the final word.
Whichever you send, add a link
