Does a game resume work with applicant tracking systems?
No, and it isn't meant to. Applicant tracking systems (ATS) read documents, so apply with your usual CV and share your CVArcade link next to it.

What an ATS reads
An ATS takes in the file you upload with an application, usually a PDF or a Word document, and stores its text. A web page or a game is not that file, so a link alone doesn't take the place of your CV.
Where the game fits
Beside the application, where a person will see it. Good places are a message to a recruiter, your LinkedIn profile, your email signature and your cover letter.
What about the text version?
Every game has a plain-text page with the same content, for readers and screen readers who'd rather skim. We make no claim that any ATS reads it. Use your CV for the system and the link for people.
A simple order
Apply with your CV first. Then put the CVArcade link where a person will see it. When your CV changes, update your game and republish, so the two match.
Questions
Can I put the link in my PDF?
Yes. Add it as a hyperlink near your contact details, so anyone reading the PDF can open the game.
Should I upload my game instead of a CV?
No. Most application systems ask for a document, and a link doesn't replace it.
Can the game hurt my chances?
It can't change what an ATS reads, because the ATS reads your CV. How a person reacts varies, which is why every game has a plain-text version.
